Morrison Gains Delay
Detroiter Implicated in Clarkston Crash Gets Adjournment
Pontiac, Mich., November 29, Clyde R. Morrison who is charges with embezzlement in the Clarkston Bank failure and was turned over by his bondsman Wednesday evening, was arraigned in municipal court this afternoon and asked for further adjournment of the case, which was granted until December 8. Bail was fixed at $5,000. He was unable to furnish bonds and returned to jail. When Morrison saw the courtroom crowded with Clarkston people he excused himself and entered a private office and did not reappear until his attorney, Clinton McGee, had entered the plea for adjournment. Morrison's account was ever drawn when Ralph Jossman admitted defaulting and he was afterwards charged by the receivers with falsifying account.
