Eliza Porter's First Ride

Mrs. Eliza Porter of Bloomfield, had her first ride in an automobile here last week. She came to Oakland County seventy-one years ago, riding in an oxcart. She states she has ridden in all kinds of conveyances now. She has resided on the same farm in Bloomfield on which she settled when she came to Oakland county.
