Clarkston Young Man Had a Fight That Ended Fatally
Clarence Richards, of Clarkston, was arrested yesterday morning by officer Wellman and brought to this city. He was arraigned before Justice Snowdon on a charge of assault and battery with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder, and refused to plead. Attorney W. F. North appeared for Richards, and the examination is set for August 28. Richards had a fight with Frank Tulley, of Clarkston, and Tulley is said to have died from injuries received. The complaint against Richards will likely e changed to manslaughter. In default of $2,000 bail, Richards is still in jail.
