Burning Lake Home Roast 500 Ducks

Pontiac, Jun 15 - Fire killed 500 ducks when it destroyed the summer home of J. P. Murphy, Detroit at Jude Lake, about 3 o'clock this morning. The Home and its contents were destroyed. The loss s expected to exceed $5000. By the time the neighbors discovered the blaze in the unoccupied home the fire had gained such headway that it was useless to summon a fire department.
