Jumps Into Mower To Escape Bees


Tommy Greer, 8 year old son of Robert and Faith Greer of 2981 Corinthia Street, jumped off a tractor into a cycle bar to avoid a swarm of bees while vacationing in his grandparents home in NAshville, Michigan. The cycle bar amputated his right foot and badly injured his left one. Tommy is reported in good condition at Blodget Hospital in Grand Rapids. He attends Stiles School and will be in the third grade this fall. Tommy's father is employed at the interstate Motor Freight Company in Pontiac. Tommy has a brother Timmy, 4, and a sister Robin, 18 months.
