In Pontiac

Rev. T. C. Trowbridge, of Marash, Central Turkey, is visiting this city, where he formerly resided. He is a brother of G. W. and R. E. Trowbridge, our estimable fellow citizens. Mr. T has resided for the past eighteen years in Turkey, and is in this country temporarily, to lay before the christian people of America the establishment of the Christian College in the interior of Asia Minor, one of the primary objects of which will be the thorough education of young men for the Christian Ministry. This project is under the auspices of the Protestant American Churches in Asia Minor, the plan embracing not only an institution for general educational purposes, but also for instruction in medicine.
