Fred Shannon Lost His Home

Fred Shannon has lost his home. Fred lived in a bachelor apartments, his dwelling consisting of a one room shanty in the rear of George Brook's house on Perry street, between Piek and Hill streets. Fred was at home this afternoon when his gasoline stove did business with a telling effect. George Brooks saw the conflagration in time to pull Shannon out of the flames or a serious accident might have resulted. the fire department subdued the flames
