Fire in Fields Cause Scare at Waterford

Sparks from a chimney set fire to dead vegetation in a field on the Harris estate near Waterford Monday, and for a time serious consequences were feared. The fire was quite spectacular for a few minutes as it spread rapidly towards the barn and other buildings, but fortunately neighbors and passer-by were able to put it out before much damage was done.
