Robert Beattie Held Up at Garage Door

Robert Beattie had an unpleasant experience of being held up and robbed on Saturday night about 11 o'clock, when he was returning home. Just as he drove into his own garage on School St. a young man's face appeared in the window demanding him to "stick them up." Mr. Beattie hesitated, but with a second demand, threw his wallet, as he was directed to, at the man, who when he rederived it, backed away without causing any other discomfort and ran to his car, which was parked in the school yard.
