Cut His Finger Off
Last Saturday Mr. Mansfield White, of Oakland, stopped his reaper while at work for the purpose of sharpening som of the knives belonging to the machine. He had neglected to throw the concern out of gear, during the sharpening process, and the horses started up, a knife came into contact with one of his fingers, cutting it "smack, smooth off."
