Two Palces Were Burglarized At Oxford

Oxford, Jan. 9.—Burglars again paid Oxford a visit Saturday night. W. J. Tunstead’s hardware store and E. R. Clark’s saloon were the places entered, glass being cut from a rear window in both instances. Four or five revolvers were taken from the hardware store and a small sum of money in pennies from the saloon. This is the third time the same window has been cut by burglars.Deputy Sheriff Will Drahner tracked two men to within four miles of Lapeer, Sunday, and placed them under arrest. They were searched here but nothing was found to indicate that they had any hand in the burglary. They were released.
