Blood on Engine Leads to Discovery

Detroit, Jun 8 - Edward Yorkey, aged about 40, and his daughter, age 12, while driving from Detroit to their home in Royal Oak, last night, were struck by the Detroit, Grand Haven & Milwaukee train near Royal Oak shortly after 10 o'clock. The engineer of the train thought he struck a cow and went to Pontiac. Investigation showed blood on the engine and pieces of a wagon. Word was sent back to Milwaukee Junction, near here, and searchers found the unconscious bodies. They were brought to harper hospital here this morning. The man died a few hours later, and the girl at 8 o'clock.
