Officers Arrested At Farmington Houshold
On Tuesday of last week, officers from the jail, arrested John Green and John Lashe on the charge of stealing nine bushels of wheat from Eugene Ames, a farmer of Farmington township. Green and Lashe, with Green's sister, Cora, lived west of Farmington in an old hotel. According to reports, the place had borne an unsavory reputation for some time. To make the job complete, Cora Green was arrested for disorderly conduct at the same time. Green and Lashe were arraigned before Justice Mathews, yesterday.
