Death of D. H Solis of Pontiac
D. H. Solis, the well known Editor and Proprietor of the Pontiac Jacksonian for the past seven years, died in that city on Thursday evening of last week, of Pleurisy. His funeral was very largely attended on Sunday, the ceremonies being conducted by the Masonic Fraternity of which order was a highly respected member. Mr Solis was a staunch Democrat, and a fearless advocate of what he believed right, a warm hearted, sincere friend, every ready to lend a helping hand to the needy and unfortunate.
