Two Pioneers Pass Away

Joseph P. Dickerson, one of the old residents of Milford Township, passed away MOnday noon, June 4, at his home south of town. He was 78 years of age and has lived for fifty years or thereabouts in this vicinity. He has been out of health for many years. He leaves on son, George Dickerson. The funeral services were held Wednesday at the Wixom church and were conducted by Rev. Lee McCollester of Detroit, who delivered an address especially touching and eloquent. Mr Dickerson was a member of the Milford Masonic Lodge and a large delegation of the order was at his funeral and officiate at the burial service at the Wixom cemetery.
