Will Be Tried At Pontiac
Change of venue denied in Clarkston Case.
Pontiac, Mich, Jul 25 - Judge Smith today denied the motion for change of venue in the case of Mrs. Mary Clack of Clarkston, against the D. G. H. & M. R. R. Attorney Bromley objected to the change, as he said the affidavit filed by attorney Geer was void because it was sworn to before Geer's law partner.
The court sustained Attorney Bromley's view, so the case will be tried here. Mrs. Clack was the wife of the agent at Clarkston when the depot there burned. She is suing for the value of her property which was burned.
