In Waterford


On the 3rd instant, a grand picnic was held in Mr. Young's grove, on Waterford Lake in Oakland County. Six Sabbath-schools were represented, viz: Four Towns, Webster, Clarkston Station, White Lake; Waterford Center and Waterford. The rain interdered somewhat with the success of the affair, but on the whole is was a very satisfactory and pleasurable occasion. Addresses were made by Rev. Mr. Cressey, of Pontiac; Rev. Mr Hunt, of Jackson; Rev. Mr. Chandler, of White Lake; and Rev. Mr. Harrington, of Four Towns.
