Daniel Addis passed away Thursday, April 5th, at the family home in Clarkston, Michigan, following a severe stroke, which he suffered Saturday, March 17th. Mr. Addis was born in Oakland County, Michigan, Nov 11, 1840, and has lived in this vicinity all his life. he is he last of a family of six children. He married Isabel Buzzard, Oct 1, 1868, who survives him, also three children; LeRoy P. Mrs Louise Walter and Mrs. Edward Wieland; five grandchildren, Ronald, and Manley Walter, Daniel Albert Addis, Mrs. Charles Kitchen and Mrs Guy Price, of Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral services will be held at the home, Saturday, April 8th, at 2:30 p. m., Rev Edwin Stephens officiating with burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
