William E. Parkinson, aged 71 years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Fredericksen, on Baldwin Ave, in Pontiac, last Friday. after an illness of three years. Mr. Parkinson was born Nov. 4, 1872, in White Lake Township. He attended the Fair and the Clarkston schools. He married Orpha Dilly who died in 1924. He lived his entire life in Oakland County, and eleven years ago moved from White Lake to Pontiac. Besides his daughter, he is survived by two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Leman Canfield of Pontiac. The funeral service was held on Monday afternoon at the Ogden-Kennedy Funeral Home in Clarkston with the Rev. Cletus Parker officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
