A notice of the death of Mrs. Standish , the widow of the late Morgan Standish, also appears in this issue. Mrs. Standish came to Avon from the state of New York some ten years since, and resided there five years when she removed to Troy, where she remained up to the time of her death. She was a good Christian lady, and died in the hope of a glorious immortality.
