Hugh Green was quietly laid t rest in Lakeview Cemetery, Thursday afternoon, Jun 17th. He had spent the most of his life in this community. He was born on what was known as the Green farm south of the village where he lived until about 25, then moving to Missouri to work on the railroad, a position which he held for about 27 years. Fri there he moved back t Clarkston where he died at the age of 83.It has been said that Mr. Green was a sportsman from the word "go." His greatest enjoyment was spent in the woods fishing and hunting. He is survived by two daughters and three sons of Clarkston.
