Mrs. Anna Mathilda' Pennanen, 752 Lounsbury St., aged 72, died at Avon Center Hospital on Monday after a long illness. Born in Karkku, Finland, Oct. 2, 1882, she he'd lived in Rochester for many years and was a very active member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral home with burial at Mt. Avon Cemetery. Surviving are five sons, Harry of Detroit, Wesley of Berkley, Davis of Lancaster, Cal.; William and Arnold of Rochester, and three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Watson of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Esther Ettinger and Mrs. Evelyn Kawarsky, both of Miami. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
