He was a farmer and merchant residing in Worthington, Massachusetts, the moved to Brutus(now Sennett), NY, then to Riga, NY, afterwards to Auburn, Ny, and finally to Holly, Oakland County, Michigan, where he was elder and deacon of the Presbyterian Church and vice-president of the Merchants National Bank.
