Notes
He was a partner in the C. V. Taylor carriage works. Edward Halsey moved for a time to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he accepted the agency for the Rapid Motor Vehicle Co. (1909), of the former city. He will establish his headquarters in Oshkosh, and from there will cover all his territory. Mr Halsey was one of the best known vehicle men in Pontiac. For several years he was identified with the Pontiac Spring and Wagon Works, and after that company sold out to the Cartercar Co. he accepted a position with the last named concern, resigning only a short time ago. (from the Automotive Manufacturer, 1909).
